Oklahoma City Blazers won their 10th straight game today led by rookie phenom Braden Lajoie. The 6’2″ sixteen year old stud was an absolute monster making 36 saves on 39 shots, many of the point black variety. Veteran Matthew Audette scored a pair of goals including the last goal for the Blazers after being injured midway throughout the second. Audette was hit hard from behind by Wichita forward Peter Cecmanek. The gutsy center man would return with 10 minutes to play in the game and along with Lajoie put away a feisty Thunder squad. Oklahoma City swept the season series vs the thunder going a perfect six and 0. The Blazers are back in action this Thursday at the Cox Convention Center at 7pm vs the Springfield Express. It will be military appreciation night as well as Teddy Bear Toss night. All holders of a Military ID can get a free ticket at the Cox box office for the game.
