Matt Levene scores 5 goals, Blazers Win 10th straight

The Oklahoma City Blazers won their 10th straight game Saturday beating Springfield 6-3. The Blazers were propelled by 5 goals from forward Matt Levene. The Blazer forward has been unstoppable lately  putting up 18 points (11 goals 7 assists) in the last 4 games. Levene and the Blazers are alone in first place in the Midwest division.  OKC newcomer Eric Lietz got the B’s on the board in the first period before the Levene takeover.

The Blazers and Springfield tangle again Sunday at 2PM for the 3rd and final game of the weekend.  Oklahoma City will likely be without forwards Matthew Audette and Pavel Oxiouta who did not finish the game Saturday. OKC will welcome back top forward Dominik Vlk to the lineup after serving his 2 game suspension he was given last weekend for a fight in the last 5 minutes vs Tulsa.
