The Oklahoma City Blazers and goaltender Jakub “KUBA” Krejci shutout the visiting Wichita Jr Thunder by a score of 8-0 to win their 9th straight. Krejci backstopped his team with 33 saves picking up the win. Blazers scoring machine Matt Levene recorded a hat trick and continues to lead the WSHL in goals with 37 in only 28 games played. Reining WSHL player of the week Krill Romanov added a pair of goals to go along with an assist and a fighting major to record the Gordie Howe Hat trick. Colton Nelson, Hunter Smith and Lubos Vacek each had goals for the B’s to round out the goal scoring. Matthew Audette added 3 assists and Dylan Lamontagne and Victor Ekk added a pair each. OKC and Wichita finish out the season series tomorrow morning at 11 AM. All game can be watched live on fasthockey.com
