The Oklahoma City Blazers won their 12th consecutive game yesterday in Springfield by a score of 4-2.  The Blazers weekend sweep of the Springfield Express catapulted the red hot Blazers into the first overall position in the Western States Hockey League.

The Blazers are 24-3-0 at the midway point of the season and heading to the Las Vegas Shootout for 4 games in 4 nights vs the top teams in the WSHL.

The Blazers take on the Colorado Eagles Tuesday at 4PM in an Eastern Conference grudge match with Mountain division leading Eagles. Colorado trails the Blazers by just 1 point in the standings.

On Wednesday, the Blazers take on the Pacific division powerhouse Valencia Flyers at 12:15PM. Thursday OKC faces the Northwest division leader Missoula Maulers at 2Pm and finish off the showcase with an early morning breakfast match vs Mountain Division’s Ogden Mustangs. The Blazers and Mustangs game is at 7:45AM. All games are played at the Las Vegas Ice Center and times are Pacific Standard Time.
