The Oklahoma City Blazers completed day 2 of training camp in Plzen, Czech Republic today finishing up the afternoon game that had Team Red beating Team Black 3-1.
After taking a 1-1 tie into the third period, defenseman Jan Prokop rifled a loose puck over the shoulder of goaltender Jonas Stekr that would eventually become the game winner. Martin Vytrisal would slam home a rebound late to seal it for Team Red.

Team Red outshot Team Black 37-18.

“I thought the intensity picked up today,” said Assistant Coach and director of player personnel Zac Desjardins. “It was a crisper, cleaner game. Practice this morning was different but good.”

The Blazers brass had the opportunity to watch and evaluate the morning session while Czech coach Martin Barcak ran the players through a few intense drills.

“It’s neat to see the different styles of practice plans and coaching when you are in a foreign country, we enjoyed what we saw.”

The final day of training camp is Sunday with 2 ice sessions and exit meetings.
