Blazers Trade Vasicek to Dallas

Oklahoma City Blazers President and Head Coach Tyler Fleck has announced that the Blazers have traded forward Jaroslav Vasicek to the Dallas Snipers, in exchange for future considerations. The future considerations are to be used prior to this season’s trade deadline. Vasicek’s rights will be retained by Oklahoma City following the conclusion of the 2016-17 season. The trade was initiated by player request.

Vasicek, a Czech Republic native, joined Oklahoma City last season and scored three goals and an assist in 20 games. This season, Vasicek picked up two goals and six assists in 11 games played.

Vasicek last played for the Blazers on November 13th against the Snipers.

The Blazers are off this weekend and next, as they prepare for the Wichita Thunder on December 9th, 10th, and 11th at the Blazers Ice Centre. Tickets are on sale now, call the Blazers box office at 405-601-6489!
