Blazers Get It Done

Blazers 5 @ Tulsa 4 1-31-16

Kirill Romanov recorded his second consecutive hat trick to boost the Blazers to another win on Sunday in Tulsa. Romanov’s 3rd of the night would come just minutes into the second overtime frame to seal the victory for OKC.  Ivan Bondarenko and Johan Sorkin also found the twine for the Blazers who impove their record to 34-6-0-0 on the season. Goaltender Filip Kostka got the win in goal for OKC recording his league leading 22nd victory of the year.  The Blazers played without key forwards Ryan Cagnoni, Adam Skutchan and enforcer Kody Smith for a second straight night. Defensman Colton Nelson left the game in the second period with an undisclosed injury.

The Blazers next 6 games will come at home as they face Dallas next weekend and rival Wichita the next weekend. The Blazers magic number to clinch the Northwest Divison Pennant sits at just 1.5 games with over a month to play in the regular season.

Stay tuned for more Blazers news about the upcoming weekend vs Dallas.
