Blazers Beat Casper


The Oklahoma City Blazers beat the Mountain division leading Casper Coyotes at the Western States Shootout in Las Vegas, Nevada today. The Blazers jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never looked back improving their record to 17-4 on the season. Five different Blazers had goals, including Mike Evans, Petr Kobes, Kirill Romanov, Kole Hudson and Hunter Smith. OKC goaltender Braden Lajoie picked up the win with 26 saves on 29 Casper shots on goal. The Blazers square off tomorrow against the Idaho Jr Steelheads at 5PM MST. Idaho owns the best overall record in the league standing at a very impressive 22-0-1 record.
