The Oklahoma City Blazers ALL STAR weekend finished as a huge success. Although the hometown Blazers were blanked 3-0 by WSHL ALL STARS, the weekend was flawless from start to finish. It was the first All Star game in over a decade in the WSHL and League Comissioner Ron White called the event a “GRAND SLAM”.

President and Blazers Head coach Tyler Fleck was also very happy with the weekend.

“We are very happy with the turnout and the event overall. It is something our organization worked very hard on for the past 4 months. From the dinner banquet to the skills competition to the actual gameplay, it was excellent,” said Fleck. “Although we (the Blazers) didnt win the game, it didn’t matter. Our guys all got to participate and be involved in something historic for the league. Something they can look back on and say  “that was pretty cool”. Everyone had a lot of fun.”

The Blazers next action is VS arch rival El Paso Rhinos on January 15th, 16th and 17th. Friday and Saturday games are going to be guaranteed sellouts. Call the Blazers office at 405-601-6489 for seats. It will be Military Appreciation Weekend and tickets are just $10.
