Blazers 5 tulsa 0

The Oklahoma City Blazers beat down the Tulsa Oilers Saturday in OKC by a score of 5-0. Johan Sorkin continues his stellar play by adding a pair of tucks for the B’s and Filip Kostka was flawless picking up his league leading 5th shutout of the season.

Kirill Romanov also added 2 goals to go along with Tomas Nemeth’s first period power play goal to round out the scoring for the Blazers.

The OKC fans welcomed newly acquired power forward Kody Smith to the Sooner state as they roared to watch him deliver timely thunderous checks and a third period knockout to a Tulsa combatant.  OKC had their second straight full house at the Blazer Ice Centre.

In the end, both teams mixed it up for over 100 penalty minutes and reassured anyone that the OKC, Tulsa rivalry is alive and well.

The Blazers and Tulsa go one more time tomorrow in Tulsa at 3:30PM to finish out a 4 in 5 night series that the first place Blazers are in full control of leading 3 games to none.
