Brian Chandler

Brian hails from Queensbury, New York and has a combined 10 years as an active duty and Air Force contractor in the power production / aircraft arresting system career field. Brian moved to Oklahoma while serving in the United States Air Force and has previously held general management positions in the hospitality and restaurant industry. In 2009, Chandler was awarded the “General Manager of the Year” award for the Greater Oklahoma City Metro Hotel Association. Brian joined the Blazers after serving as the Director of Ticket Sales and Director of Community Relations with the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League for four years.

Mike Parsons

General Manager

Mike is beginning his first season as General Manager of the Oklahoma City Blazers hockey team. Previously serving 16 years with the Oklahoma City Blazers of the CHL, Mike took great pride in the branding of the name Oklahoma City Blazers Hockey all around the state throughout his years with the organization. Mike worked as a Sales Associate and in the group sales department and at the end of his 16 years. Mike also served as director of Game Night Operations. Mike worked with Oklahoma Storm basketball team, and the PBR Built Ford Tough Tour Stops and the PBR Challenger Finals. Mike resides in Bethany, OK and has been married to his wife Tammy for 28 years; they have 2 boys, Josh and Brandon.

Rebecca Bates, M.Ed., ATC, LAT

Athletic Trainer

Rebecca is a graduate of Norman High School, where she ran cross country and track. After getting injured, however, Rebecca decided to pursue sports medicine. She studied athletic training at the University of Tulsa for four years where she obtained her Bachelors degree. After completing an internship with Disney at the Wide World of Sports, Rebecca then spent 2 years at Iowa State university as the graduate assistant athletic trainer for softball and studied to obtain her Masters in education. Rebecca joined the Blazers in February of 2016, and enjoyed her time so much that she’ll be a permanent fixture for the 2016-17 season.

Eric Rodgers

Director of Communications / Broadcaster

Eric began his sports broadcasting career with the Oklahoma City University Stars basketball team, providing color commentary, before joining the Mid-America Christian University basketball team as play-by-play in 2012. Eric also worked for the Oklahoma City Barons of the American Hockey League as a Social Media Coordinator during the NHL lockout in the 2012-13 season. Eric previously served in the Oklahoma National Guard, and is a graduate of the American Broadcasting School. Eric currently resides in Moore, OK with his wife, Breanna.
