Blazers Introduce Equipment Manager

The Oklahoma City Blazers are proud to introduce their new equipment manager for the 2017-18 season, Landon Proctor. Proctor, who now calls Norman, Oklahoma home, is no stranger to the locker room. Proctor most recently worked with the University of Oklahoma Sooners hockey team and will now head into his first season with the Blazers as their Head Equipment Manager.

Along with playing hockey since his youth, Proctor has filled multiple roles in the Oklahoma City hockey community, working with the Oklahoma City Barons, University of Oklahoma, the Blazers Ice Centre, and also operates his own sports repair business.

“We are looking forward to having Landon on board,” stated Blazers General Manager Brian Chandler. “He loves this sport, he understands the game, has the ability to service all of the team’s equipment needs, and already has a rapport with many of our team members and staff already. Landon will be a great addition to our hockey program.”

Proctor takes over the position from Kacee Coberly, who joined the team last season. “We wish Kacee all the best with his future endeavors, and he will be missed,” said Chandler. “Landon understands that he has very big shoes to fill from the professional standard that Kacee has set for our club, and he is ready for that opportunity.”
